Accessibility Statement
How we work to make TeamALA usable by everyone.
- Version 1.0
- Effective October 29, 2026
- For: Everyone who uses TeamALA
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use TeamALA. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across teamala.org and its subdomains.
What we do
- (a) Text is at least 12 pixels.
- (b) Colours meet contrast standards in both light and dark themes.
- (c) Every control can be used with a keyboard, and has a visible focus ring.
- (d) Forms have labels.
- (e) Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them until they close.
- (f) Single-key shortcuts can be turned off.
- (g) Every page has a plain-language summary where it matters, written so a 13-year-old can follow it.
Known limits
- (a) Avatars and badges shown from Roblox and Discord may lack descriptive text.
- (b) 3D avatar previews in screening are visual only; the same facts appear as text.
Feedback
If something on TeamALA is hard to use, tell us at support@teamala.org or teamala.org/report. We aim to reply within 5 business days, and to fix confirmed problems as soon as we can.
How we check
We test with automated accessibility tools and keyboard-only use, on every release. This statement was last reviewed on 29 October 2026.
